PàiPear is Gaelic for Paper and we welcome you to call us simply by paper.
My Great Gran (on my Dad's side) - her first language was Gaelic, and it's safe to say I didn't understand a word she said in her thick accent when I was growing up!
Although I don't speak a word of the endangered language, by naming my brand after the simple concept of its creation (and including the flower of Scotland) I make a humble nod to my Scottish and Irish Heritage.
Its simple yet complex and personal - just like my brand!

The aim of PaiPear is to help support you to achieve the beauty you dream of for your event. With our beautiful invitations and related stationery and services, it's all been figured out for you.
I wanted PaiPear to achieve this goal whilst being considerate of the environment and the current climate we live in... but I had to find a realistic way to make eco-friendly a reality that the common person can afford in the current economy.
With business' like Temu (links to forced labour) and Zazzle (no eco-friendly policy and not UK based), it can be hard for a bride or groom on a budget to justify shopping local, especially with the markups (aka the wedding tax) that are so prevalent in the wedding industry.
Becoming a conscientious shopper is not always a realistic or accessible achievement for the average wage... but that's where PàiPear comes in!
We worry about it all for you, from designing and printing beautiful high quality save the dates and wax sealing them for you, to creating your dream matching items such as seating charts, menus and place names .
If you have found yourself DIY'ing your stationery on amazing apps such as Canva, we even offer professional printing that stands by our values along with expert advice and editing of your canva documents.
We want to provide you with the service you need at a cost that you can afford.

We provide personalised quotes to ensure that you're not stuck with extra stationery you don't need due to set printing options available with other providers such as Canva; and save you being let down with the quality or vision you had of your dream stationery due to not having a friendly local to advise and help you personally.
We partner with Ecologi to plant trees and give back to mother nature - we appreciate that earth provides us with the beautiful resources that allow us to print and create beautiful keepsakes for you and so we care that we conserve and replenish these resources!

Emma (founder) created PàiPear as a solution for all.
As a worker of the NHS, she realised that not everyone has the time to dedicate to achieving the event of their dreams, nor does everyone have the money to achieve the big day that we dream of when we longingly scroll TikTok, Pinterest and Instagram. However when we mention the word “wedding”, prices can seem to jump up astronomically… So what choice do we really have but to try DIY as much as possbile even when we have not much time to spare?
Emma decided to source local eco-friendly printing and put her natural skills of design and organisation to good use to provide the solution.
PaiPear can:
- step in to handle the design and coordination of all your stationery to create a flush aesthetic to suit your style
- help DIY'ers perfect, resize and finish their Canva designs as well as extract the correct file for printing for only £5
- be responsible for printing your designs with our eco-printer including ensuring we've taken care of the print safe zones, bleed and cut that will result in your vision being brought perfectly to life
- recommend local business' who align with our business model to supply you with anything that we don't provide ourselves such as laser-cut wooden names, dried flowers to include in your wax-sealing etc

We can do invitations and other stationery for anyone across the UK and Ireland by providing you with digital samples of your stationery. When you are happy with your sample, we then print this off at home on a budge

When you are happy with your sample, we then print this off at home on a budget printer with an eco-ink subscription and send you a video so you can get a good idea of the sizing, and a better idea of how it looks in real life.
Operating this way means we don't have to 'bake' in overheads into our prices (such as sending out samples) and can ensure we price fairly.

Your invitations come direct to you from the printer for you to put together at home. If you have had your invitations designed for you and ordered wax seals, we put these all together for you so they are ready to hand straight to guests - just a personal touch for trusting us with your beautiful stationery.

When Nicole (now our resident wax-sealer) booked her wedding in the summer of 2022, she was confident she had the know-how and the skills to organise the entire thing by herself. Nicole had high-standards and high-hopes of achieving her dream wedding within her budget.

When Nicole (now our resident wax-sealer) booked her wedding in the summer of 2022, she was confident she had the know-how and the skills to organise the entire thing by herself. Nicole had high-standards and high-hopes of achieving her dream wedding within her budget.
When Nicole realised the full scope of what this entailed, she wished she had a team of people to delegate the load to.
After sinking in way more hours than she anticipated (and enlisting the help of her family and friends), the wedding was the most beautiful and memorable proclamation of true love she could have imagined. Even after the help and collaboration from friends and family, it was definitely an experience that Nicole used the honeymoon to recover from!

Through working at NHS24, we have come across many a bride and groom to be who just don't have the time to organise their big day. Markups in the wedding industry ontop of the rise in the cost of living also make it difficult to save up for their special day.
Through seeing many NHS colleagues start businesses as solutions in response to problems they've been determined to help people overcome, Emma found her spark in doing the same.
It shouldn't be a choice between costing an arm and a leg OR shopping unethically. It should be Eco, Ethical and Affordable which is the baseline on which PaiPear has began to grow!

When Louise (founder Emma's sister) began her journey of wedding planning, she had a better idea than most of the work and organisation that was going to be required to pull off her dream day.
As a veteran florist (and founder) of Iris White Floristry (who specialise in beautiful wedding flowers and working to individual budgets), Louise made use of her connections with local suppliers to help pull together the wedding of the year that went off without a hitch.
Luckily, Louise also had PaiPear to hand when she required a last minute supplier of the Welcome Board and Seating Chart she forgot to order! Thankfully PaiPear began trading only a few months before her wedding and so she had a trustworthy supplier for her wedding emergency!
PaiPear then provided the beautiful thank you cards for her to send out afterwards featuring a dreamy professional photo from her photographer.
