PàiPear - pronounced: Pay-Pear p/eɪ/p/eɪ/r
PàiPear is Gaelic for Paper and we welcome you to call us simply by paper.
My Great Gran (on my Dad's side) - her first language was Gaelic, and it's safe to say I didn't understand a word she said in her thick accent when I was growing up!
Although I don't speak the endangered language myself, by naming my brand after the simple concept of its creation (and including the flower of Scotland) I make a humble nod to my Scottish and Irish Heritage.
Its simple yet complex and personal - just like our brand!
PàiPear - A Solution for brides and grooms everywhere
Emma (founder) created PàiPear as a solution for all.
As a worker of the NHS, she realised that not everyone has the time to dedicate to achieving the event of their dreams, nor does everyone have the money to achieve the big day that we dream of when we longingly scroll TikTok, Pinterest and Instagram. However when we mention the word “wedding”, prices can seem to jump up astronomically… So what choice do we really have but to try DIY as much as possbile even when we have not much time to spare?
Emma decided to source local eco-friendly printing and put her natural skills of design and organisation to good use to provide the solution.
On her jourmey, Emma has found many other NHS colleagues and locals have business with similiar values - hence we have access to special extras such as wax-seals and unique art. It also means we can uutilise and recommend local business' to supply anything that we don't provide ourselves such as laser-cut wooden names, dried flowers to include in your wax-sealing etc

When Nicole (now our resident wax-sealer) booked her wedding in the summer of 2022, she was confident she had the know-how and the skills to organise the entire thing by herself. Nicole had high-standards and high-hopes of achieving her dream wedding within her budget.
When Nicole realised the full scope of what this entailed, she wished
When Nicole (now our resident wax-sealer) booked her wedding in the summer of 2022, she was confident she had the know-how and the skills to organise the entire thing by herself. Nicole had high-standards and high-hopes of achieving her dream wedding within her budget.
When Nicole realised the full scope of what this entailed, she wished she had a team of people to delegate the load to.
Emma watched Nicole sink in way more hours than she anticipated and enlist the help of her family and friends to get the job done.... but in the end the wedding was the most beautiful and memorable proclamation of true love we could have imagined.
Even after the help and collaboration from friends and family, it was definitely an experience that Nicole used the honeymoon to recover from!
Along the journey, we found many other engaged colleagues who just didn't have the time capacity to achieve their weddings resulting in either weddings on hold or causing extreme stress and/or high cost. Markups in the wedding industry ontop of the rise in the cost of living also make it difficult to save up for the special day.

Through seeing many NHS colleagues start businesses as solutions in response to problems they faced, Emma found her spark in doing the same - because it shouldn't be a choice between eco, ethical OR affordable in this day and age.

Emma is the founder, designer and chief coordinator at PaiPear - she takes ideas from conception and runs with them until they are a beautiful reality in the hands of our customer. Emma can ensure you are on track with ordering your stationery so that you can ensure everything is ready to go on your big day and this process is as stress-free as possible.
Emma sources products for customers and uses her connections with other local business' to put you in touch with the right people - if its not on the shop, just ask!
Emma is approachable, friendly and great at communicating - don't ever hesitate to ask her for a free no-obligation quote for exactly what you are after.
Emma is Buddhist meaning she shows respect and compassion to all humans in every walk of life. Emma works at NHS24 as a call handler and has supported the service since 2019. Emma is a mother to a toddler and is pregnant with her second child due April 2025 which is her main joy.
Emma enjoys yoga, meditation, dancing and line-dancing, gaming (xbox and the odd Dungeons and Dragons game when theres actually time!); and of course creating beautiful aesthetics and helping make dreams come true!

Nicole is our expert wax-sealer specialising in plastic-free wax which is very hard to work with. Nicole is currently working in the background to advance our wax-sealing services beyond our basic wax-seals so keep your eyes peeled!
Nicole works for NHS24 as a call handler and has supported the service since 2019. Nicole enjoys cars, fitness and healthy-living including bouncing up as many Munros as she can. Nicole is obsessed with Post Malone and is a self-proclaimed 'Xbox Princess' - can keep up with the best of them in-game but don't ask her to set it up!
Keri - Talented Sketch Artist
Keri is our resident artist here at PaiPear! Extremely talented, Keri manages to capture the beauty and charm of your venue in simplistic line-drawings and sketches. We know your venue has been picked after many a viewing to find your perfect match - Keri encapsulates this magnificence in her work so that you can use it on your invitations and other stationery!
Keri works at NHS24 as a call handler after her career and volunteering in the animal care sector. Keri enjoys spending time with her family, hiking and getting outdoors with her friends and her dog. Keri has a passion for dog training and her rescue Bear is benefiting from this the most!
