Grab a cuppa and let me tell you a little secret about how we work here at PaiPear…
Everything you order (unless I’ve said otherwise — like bulk runs, foiling, or gloss finishes that go to my external printer) is hand cut, right here in-house.
That means:
Each piece is individually crafted – not machine-churned. Every cut, fold, and trim is done by hand with care and attention.
Tiny variations are part of the charm – a menu might be a millimetre smaller than another, but you’ll never notice when it’s beautifully displayed on your table. (These pieces are meant to be admired individually, not stacked up side-by-side like a deck of cards!)
We don’t bin what can be used – if something is perfectly good but a smidge smaller, it still gets used. That’s part of keeping things eco, ethical, and affordable – just the PaiPear way.
Smarter sheet use = less waste – when possible, I’ll slightly adjust your artwork size (say by a centimetre) so more fits on one A3 sheet. That saves on materials, printing, and the planet 🌍.
Custom cutting at no extra cost – need unique sizes or personalised items (like names printed on each menu)? No problem. Because every order is hand finished, there’s no hefty “custom size” fee that big printers charge.

If there’s a problem with your order, please get in touch as soon as you spot it.
Send over a few photos and any helpful details and I’ll get on it sharpish.
Issues are thankfully uncommon at PaiPear, but if something’s not right I’ll always aim to fix it first — whether that’s reprinting, replacing missing items, or sorting out any other hiccups.
Refunds are very rarely needed, simply because most things can be put right. On the occasions where a refund is agreed, 10% of the order total is non-refundable, as this covers time already spent on design, setup and prep. It’s not a penalty — just a wee bit of housekeeping for work already done.
Further Details
Before starting most orders, I usually take a 10% deposit. This covers the behind-the-scenes work like emails, quotes, mockups and print prep. Don’t worry — we’ll always have a proper chat first so you’re comfortable moving forward and know exactly what to expect.
For simpler orders (such as print-your-own designs), full payment may be taken upfront. In these cases, the same 10% still applies to cover prep time and any test prints or setup involved.

When PaiPear acts as a print service only - by submitting designs for printing, you confirm you hold the necessary rights or licenses to reproduce the work.
